"Whooo Let the Birds Out?"

Well it seems the best place to birdwatch is at the Greenville dump. Bald Eagles are regularly being sited and appearently two Golden Eagles have been frequent visitors to the landfull also. Sometimes you can spot them perched high in the trees just before the entrance of the dump ealy in the morning.  They are adult birds, so they are easy to identify with their big white heads. Take a drive and check out these hugh birds of prey.

Little Chipping Sparrows have been at the feeders on Depot Street. They normally are ground feeders, but one of them has taken a liking tothe tube feeders. Smart liitle bird, since the ducks have out on the deck eating up every little morsel that falls out of the beak of the tube feeding birds.

The Great Blue Heron has been spotted on Wiggin Stream, Let's hope its not the same one that stalked the shipmionks last year.  This one appears to not be very fond of the human population.

Thank to Bill Fling for sharing his Eagle sightings with us.
