Jupiter

The largest of the nine planets, Jupiter is fifth from the Sun.  It i also the first of the four ringed planets known as the gas giants which lie beyond the Asteroid Belt. Its cloudy atmosphere is divided into ever changing dark belts and bright zones.  Belts are areas where cooled gases are rising. Lightening storms ate known to flash through Jupiter's outer atmosphere, which is mostly hydrogen and helium but also contains poisonous ammonia nd methane, deadly to humans. Since thse belts and zomnes can move in opposite directions, they can create huge spiraling storms.  The besst known on eis called the Great Red Spot. Lightening Storms are known to flash through Jupiter's outer atmosphere, which is moslty hydrogen and helium abut also contains poisonous ammonia an dmethane, deadly to humans. Jupiter has sixteen moons and one thin, faint ring system, discovered in 1979. Did you know? Space probes could never land on Jupiter because it doesn't have a crust or hard surface of any kind.
