Anchisaurus

Name Means: Near Lizard
Like most other prosauropods, this ancestor of such
later giants as Brachiosaurus was once thought to have lived during the
late Triassic period. however, its since been proven that it actually
came from the early Jurassic. Anchisaurus had serrated teeth,
which led some scientist to think it was a meat eater. Recent discoveries,
though, show that the animal ws probably a plant eater.
Lived at the same time as: Dilophosaurus, Megalosaurus,
Plesiosaurus, Scelidosaurus.
