Name Means: Stiffened lizard
This walking tank with the club till and the horned
helmet may have looked extremely dangerous. And a meet eater would
certainly think twice before attacking it, but it was really a peace loving
plant eater. One of the largest of al the Ankylosaurus, it was also
among the very last dinosaurs to become extinct at the end of the Cretaceous
Period.
Lived at the same time as: Gallimimus, Maiasaura,
Parasaurolophus, Protoceratops, Pteranodon, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus,
Velociraptor.
