Ouranosaurus

Found: Niger, West Africa
Name Means: Valiant lizard
This plant eating relative of Iguanodon had a large,
flat head and a duck like bill with a hard beak on the end. It was
also one on only a very few dinosaurs that had a large sail down the back.
Spinosaurus, a meat eater of the same time and place also had one.
Its thoguht that this sail may have served as a radiator to help Ouranosaurus
stay cool in the hot African sun.
Lived at the same time as: Deinonychus, Hypsilophodon,
Iguanodon
