Coelurosaurs were a group of small meat eaters with
birdlike hollow bones and very light builds that lived in the early days
of dinosaurs. And Procompsognathus was one of the very earliest of
all. Although its head measured just over 3 inches, its tail, and
legs were very long. This dinosaur could probably run very fast,
and it probably feasted on insects and other small animals.
Lived at the same time as: Coelophysis, Herrerasaurus,
Plateosaurus
