Stegosaurus

Name Means: Planted lizard
Stegosaurus is well known for the giant plates on
its back, its deadly looking spiked tail, and for having a brain no bigger
that a walnut. It was once thought that this big plant eater had
a second brain above its hips, but this was not true. Some scientists
believe Stegosaurus's bony plates may have acted as radiators to help control
the animals body temperature.
Lived at the same time as: Allosaurus, Apatosaurus,
Brachionsaurus, Camptosaurus, Diplodocus, Ornitholestes
